• Cimetidine and finasteride Cimetidine can increase the blood levels of finasteride. 
• Fluid shifts or electrolyte changes may occur and should be monitored when finasteride is used with oral minoxidil or spironolactone. 
• Using herbal supplements, like saw palmetto, and finasteride together may have additive mechanisms or side effects.

Precautions

• Do not donate blood while you are being treated and for at least 6 months after the last dose as the blood donated may be given to a pregnant recipient.
